Set on adjoining balconies in a big city apartment building, which just happens to be on the flight path of a nearby airport, John Cummings is a back-porch philosopher. Over the course of three and a half years, he interacts with his balcony neighbors: Faye, who is a practicing member of the world’s oldest profession, Angel, who is a naive aspiring actress and Gwen, who is a recently-divorced homemaker. Hope, love, and loss are all discussed with big laughs and a few tears in this hilarious comedy by Norm Foster.
